Our design strategy encompassed listing images, Enhanced Brand Content, and a brand video. The seller's unique bundle offer and patented bonus item set them apart. Our task was to position this brand as the original in its category, even against competitors with ample amount of reviews. Through focused design and targeted image strategy, we effectively communicated the brand's edge and ensured its successful market entry.
A significant part of the product's success was attributed to the meticulously designed main image. After iterating through 24 variations, we landed on a standout design featuring a premium-looking black box. This, coupled with a pioneering video for the niche, which began with an attention-grabbing intro, allowed us to dominate Amazon's video ads on the first page. As a result, our client's listing captured the majority of the traffic in that segment.
A screenshot taken 28 days post-launch starkly evidences our success. Even with a mere 48 reviews, our client’s listing surpassed the best seller boasting 2,182 reviews. Notably, the average review count among the top 10 was 983, with the lowest at 304 reviews — a testament to our exceptional performance.
It’s evident that our main image strategy was on point, designed to disrupt the pattern on the first page. The eye-catching bundle, featuring the patented bonus item, coupled with a professionally crafted video, ensured our client’s product was perceived as the archetype, relegating competitors to the backdrop as mere imitations.
During the initial two weeks, sales averaged between 50-70 units daily, with a marked upswing with each favorable review. However, the pivotal moment that catapulted our client towards the best-seller badge was the introduction of the brand video three weeks post-launch. This strategy capitalized on a glaring gap: no competitors were leveraging sponsored video ads on the first page. This move not only set our client apart but also secured their ascendancy to the number one position, outpacing all competitors.
